Estilo Andino

Happy Sunday! Today I’m heading with family to eat in a pub called Cronin’s in Crosshaven, Cork. We were gifted a voucher for their restaurant and looking forward to eating there again. There’s always a good atmosphere there on the weekends and the interior is so quirky, I love it.

This look I shot with Thorsten a couple of weeks back, at the County Hall in Cork City. I actually had a touch of the flu that day and left all my make-up and clothes I had planned to wear for the shoot in County Kerry! Needless to say I managed to pull something together and am happy with the result 🙂 The coat I’m wearing is actually real fur, yes REAL!!  Don’t hate! It was my grandmothers (her name was Joanne too!), she left it to my mom and now I wear it. I don’t think I would go out and purchase a real fur coat myself but seeing as we already had it at home, it would be a pity not to put it to use. It’s actually really heavy and kind of sheds hair so I’m not sure I’ll be wearing it too much :p

I wanted to shoot the shoes I am wearing for the longest time. I bought them in Lima, Peru, barely had room to fit them in the suitcase but they had to come with me. I love them! As per statement runners, okay they are not Gucci floral print but I think they are even better, haha.  I love Andean textiles – that’s why I named this post “Estilo Andino” or Andean Style .

Hope you like the look!
