I met with the very talented photographer Brid O’Donovan last week and must say it was one of the “easiest” shoots I have done so far. The time flew by and it seemed like we were able to get some great shots. Just before the shoot we had some delicious coffee in Cork’s Coffee Roasters (coffee beans are roasted in Cork!) and we decided to make the most of the location and take some snaps…much to everyone’s insides mirth.
I told Bríd before we met up that I love reflections, shots through glass and symmetry so we decided to try to create photos applying this idea. My love for reflections might explain why my favorite photographer at the moment is Monodelespacio from Guatemala. He does a lot of stuff with symmetry/water/reflections, check out his Instagram account here.
In the photos I’m wearing a vintage wool blazer, a vintage bag, my suede skirt from Stradivarius AW 15 which I LOVE – (see link to purchase here) and pumps from H&M. Fashion bloggers seemed to be going crazy for the denim a-line button skirt during the summer but I like this black suede version because of its autumnal feel and I think I’ll get loads of wear out of it in the coming months.
